Yes, that’s me. Birger Thøgersen from Jazz Special Magazine came over to the house on a beautiful afternoon in August. The weather couldn’t have been any better: full sunshine and just a kiss of a breeze. We call it “Danish summer at its best,” but it was summer at its best anywhere. We had a lovely chat outside on the back deck with a cup of coffee and one of our favorite summer treats, jordbærtærte (strawberry pie with custard filling and a thin layer of chocolate just over the crust). I haven’t tried to make it yet, but the local bakery seems to have mastered the art of it.
