I don’t know about you, but the past month or so has completely flown by. I’ve been so wrapped up in all the stuff I need to do for concerts and promoting the CD that I haven’t made it to the gym or taken the time to take care of myself. I went so deep into work mode, that I forgot that I can’t do the work properly if I don’t give myself the tools I need. 

Today, I put myself at the top of the list. 

It didn’t take long, but it has made all the difference. 

I don’t know what’s happening in your life, but this time of year tends to dump a few extra layers on top of the normal stress. We clinch our jaws, hunch our shoulders, and dig in to the tasks at hand.

Promise me that you’ll take care of yourself today. You deserve it.

I made 30 minutes for myself today, so I spent it doing “Yoga for Text Neck”. I call it “Yoga for anyone who has a tight jaw, tense neck, or sore shoulders”.  Adriene is super fun and gets right to the point. I think you’ll dig it too.
