In honor of the holidays this year, I’m sharing wth you a children’s story. I wrote this when I was in (I think) the fourth grade. I found it as I was cleaning out some drawers here in the house. Fourth grade was a magical year for me. My memories of that year are full of writing songs and stories, playing guitar and basketball, and being the big sister to three little brothers.
May you be able to enjoy the season through the eyes of a child, with humor, joy, and excitement. I wish you and yours all the best in the new year.
Kristin
Wonderful story and great illustrations!
With your cosy story I think you have always been good to taking care of animals. This goes even today for our Border Collie; Akva.
Priceless!!!!!!
Wonderful to know how young you were brilliant! Do you think that the crooked antler might have been related to a bass bow?
I had no idea about bass bows at that time, so it is highly unlikely. I think I was trying to figure out what “superpower” another reindeer could have besides the red nose. 🙂
What a wonderful Christmas Tale. Kristin, you are a true creative artist. Music, art, storytelling, lyrics, the whole package. Best Wishes for a Magical Holiday Season.
Wishing you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Thanks for the cute story!
Best,
David Guelff

good stuff
How can I read the story? I want to know who the criminal is!!
There should be scrolling arrows on the left and right side of the image. If you click on the cover, it should make the image larger. I think it might be easier to see the arrows that way.
Kristin, This is a brilliant and beautiful Christmas story and the artwork is remarkable! Thank you for sharing this and I really think this should be published. Jim
