After a whirlwind tour of Southern California, Kristin Korb jets over to Barcelona to be a featured artist at the Barcelona Bass Meeting. This weekend-long festival (May 18-19) is one of the most important double bass events in Spain. BarcelonaBass gathers some of the most active Spanish and international bass players for this great adventure. The spirit of service to the double bass community, both students and professionals, is what has moved them to organize such a big event: a place to meet, to share, to learn, to enjoy, to play double bass….. Although this is a bass event, you don’t have to be a bassist to come and enjoy the music.
This is Korb’s first visit to Spain.
