Kristin Korb returns California for a series of concerts to celebrate her 8th release Beyond the Moon. Inspired by the storytelling of one of America’s greatest lyricists, Johnny Mercer, Kristin includes several of his biggest hits and then takes a voyage of discovery into unpublished texts that Mercer never made into songs.
We’re thrilled to be joined by Bay Area woodwind bada@@ Mary Fettig! We’ve been friends for a long time and she is a joy on the bandstand. I know you’re with me. If you know her, you love her.

We are delighted to meet again with the singing bassist Kristin Korb and her great fellow musician. Ever since the formidable success of the Festival Hall 2014 and later during the festival of autumn 2015, she consolidates her position as a musician with her virtuosity, presence, humorous stories and her ability to playfully perform her own material and pearls from the American songbook. Welcome to an evening with a fantastic trio. Kristin Korb (double bass), Magnus Hjorth (piano), Snorre Kirk (drums).
