Track 6: Don’t Fence Me In
I grew up on Country/Western music. Barbara Mandrell and Anne Murray were my early heroines. There will always be a little of that country girl inside me. While I’m not really up for living in the country and you probably don’t want to see me on a horse, I love the feeling of exploring the world and the sense of freedom that the “West” represents. This is just classic stuff: American independence.
Who’s Responsible: Mom & Dad

The Connection: They’ve always encouraged me to chase my dreams, even if it something that they haven’t always agreed with. Between the 2 of them, I have inherited that sense of independence and commitment to hard work to get stuff done.
